No. Standard mattresses under 30 cm are compatible; simply place the sensing pad flat under the mattress for normal operation.

The system provides backend web event alerts and supports mobile assisted notifications to help caregivers stay informed in real time.

For home use, a standard home Wi-Fi is sufficient;
for institutions, however, a complete, stable wireless network with full coverage (no dead zones) is required, and it must provide enough bandwidth to support all device connections.
