ForeAider——ForeAider Technology was founded in July 2018 with the founding purpose of helping without causing suffering and supporting without blame. The company was jointly established by caregivers, physicians, and senior engineers. Several founding members deeply felt that the process of caring for elders involved many difficulties and emotional conflicts, and that many regrets and misunderstandings only became apparent after an elder had passed away.
People grow old, and no one wants to trouble others when they get old; many elders are also unwilling to wear wearable devices to bed. We aim to provide intuitive care services without changing existing living habits. Making filial duty simple, allowing the elderly to receive genuine respect. With this belief, we developed an assistive smart cordless bed sensor pad that is non-wearable and compatible with most mattresses to help caregivers.”

Care challenges we're addressing

- Palliative and long-term bedridden cases require more comfortable, non-invasive monitoring methods.

Our technology and core capabilities
ForeAider Technology uses its independently developed biological micro-vibration vital-sign measurement technology to build smart cordless bed sensor pad, and features:
- Under-bed detection, no wearables required: does not affect elders' routines or sleep quality.
- No electronic components in contact, foldable, not easily damaged: safer and more durable.
- Real-time detection of in-bed / out-of-bed status, immediately notifying caregivers of abnormalities.
- Remote viewing of case trends to assist medical and caregiving decision-making.
Deployment achievements and partner sites
To date, over 1,500 beds of smart cordless bed sensor pad have been deployed across Taiwan, widely applied in nursing homes, care homes, psychiatric nursing homes, day care centers, and other institutions, and are gradually entering ordinary households, becoming an important support for families caring for elders.
